DO NOT …
enroll in any ole course just so your record indicates a full-time student load. This hurts your classmates that NEED the “placer” course you just took a seat in!
DO…
Contact your advisor to find alternate appropriate courses for your degree program, and try to enroll in the appropriate courses.
DO…
If, after contacting your advisor, you still cannot find any courses available for your degree program… IDENTIFY yourself!
Attempt to register for the course that is filled. This will 'flag' administration that you attempted to, but were not successful in enrolling in the course. During the designated regsitration shut-down period (November 15-30 ), such data is analyzed and adjustments to courses are made accordingly. |

What is a "Co-Req" (CORQ_xxxxREQ) and how does this affect my registration?
Most of our 4 and 5 credit courses that also offer a laboratory component to the lecture REQUIRE enrollment in both the lecture and lab portion of the courses in the same term. There are also instances where enrollment in two courses are required in the same term (EX: SSW 511 and SSW 522) To successfully enroll in these types of courses (EX: CHE 110 and CHE 110L), you must register and save/submit both courses simultaneously. Save/submitting the CRN for the lecture without the lab will result in a "CORQ_xxxxREQ" Error.

Important Notice: U-Online technical issues - We are experiencing some intermittent technical issues with U-Online. ITS is working diligently to resolve the issue, however should you have trouble logging into or navigating through U-Online, please contact the ITS Help Desk at extension 2200 (207.602.2200). Helpful tip - some users are reporting that a second click (double click) on a U-Online link will take them to the desired page, when one click does not work as it should.
As a result of these technical issues, please take note:
Class of 2013: Registration will open at 7am on Thursday, November 12th (instead of midnight Wednesday). The Registrar's Offices on both the Biddeford and Portland Campuses will be open at 7am on November 12th to assist any student experiencing technical difficulty. Stop by either Decary 114 (Biddeford Campus) or Hersey 119 (Portland Campus). Please come prepared with your Alternate PIN, PRN, and CRN course selection(s). |
