As a Teacher within Blackboard, you have the ability to add and remove individuals to and from your course.  This is particularly useful if you need to add a student to your Blackboard course, add somebody as a Teaching Assistant, or grant somebody the ability to modify your course as a Designer.
The process for adding individuals to a Blackboard course is detailed below.

  1. Access your Blackboard course to which you need to add somebody.

  2. Within the TEACH tab, click GRADE BOOK under the Instructor Tools

  3. Click ENROLL MEMBERS.

  4. Enter their Nor'easter user name.

  5. Under Assign roles, select the role in which you want the user to be enrolled.
  • Auditor: can access course content, complete assignments and assessments, but does not receive a final grade.
  • Student: can access course content, complete assignments and assessments, and is assigned a final grade.
  • Teaching Assistant: can grade assignments and assessments and participate in discussions.
  • Section Designer: can create, edit, and delete all course content, communication tools, and assignments and assessments.

  1. Click ENROLL.
