In this session, attendees will get a general summary of the Blackboard tool and learn about it's features.  By the end of the session, attendees will understand:
    * what the Blackboard system is
    * how its tools can be used in a course
    * how to log on to Blackboard
    * how to begin to design a course
    * how to upload files
This session is best suited for those who have never used Blackboard CE 8.0, or users of prior versions (including WebCT) who would like a general orientation to what the system can do.

Blackboard Level 1
In this session, attendees will learn about some of the course-building tools available within the Blackboard system.  Discussion and examples will focus on:
    * uploading different types of content
    * customizing course layout and design
    * enhancing learning with communication tools
    * creating assignments and assessments
This session is ideally suited for those who have been through the Introduction and Overview, or who have used Blackboard CE 8.0 to some degree in the past.

Blackboard Level 2
In this session, attendees will learn about some of the more advanced features within the Blackboard system.  Discussion and demonstration will focus on:
    * using the grade book
    * using Selective Release
    * using Respondus
This session is suited for attendees who have completed the previous two sessions, or are current Blackboard CE 8.0 users who would like to enhance their courses though the addition of additional tools.

UNE Information Technology Services is happy to present Blackboard training services to accommodate all different types of learning, whether you learn best in a group, one-on-one with a trainer, or through step-by-step instruction on your own. Current myUNE Users:

Before you can access these new services, you'll need to synchronize your Google account password with your Nor'Easter password. To do so, please follow this link. Once you have successfully synchronized your passwords, please use the links located under E-Services, on the left-hand side of this page, to access your myUNE E-mail, Calendar, etc.

For information on archiving old email, please visit http://transition.une.edu and view the tutorial.

New myUNE Users:

Do you know what your Nor'easter (myUNE) user-name is? If not, you can look-up your user-name here. Generally speaking, your default password is set to your six digit date-of-birth (MMDDYY). Before proceeding, please take a minute to change your password from the default to something more secure. (NOTE: Passwords must be at least six characters in length and should contain both letters and numbers. You will not be able to access U-Online until you've made this change, for security reasons.)

Optionally, once you're changed your password, you should take a minute to set-up our Self Service Password Reset tool. Once set-up, you will be able to reset your own password, should you forget it.

Now that you've gotten all of that out of the way, please use the links located under E-Services, on the left-hand side of this page, to access your myUNE E-mail, Calendar, etc.
