An article by Geoffrey Bove, DC, Ph.D., was published this month in the Journal of Neuroscience Methods.
The article, entitled “The conundrum of sensitization when recording
from nociceptors,” is Dr. Bove’s third in this journal. The research
addresses a long standing methodological challenge associated with
electrophysiological recording of sensory nerves. The findings have
broad implications to the pain field in how data is collected and
interpreted in model systems. Dr. Bove is a research associate
professor in the College of Osteopathic Medicine and is an active
member of the Center for Excellence in the Neurosciences. |
