USG 'Of the Year' Award Nominations

The Undergraduate Student Government invites (and encourages) all undergraduate students on the Biddeford Campus to nominate other students, faculty, and staff for awards to be presented at the U-Lead Awards Reception on April 22 or the Undergraduate Awards Ceremony on April 24. YOUR INPUT IS IMPORTANT. The process is easy and confidential. All nominations must be submitted by Wednesday, March 28th at 10:00 a.m.

You will be voting for:

First Year Student of the Year: This award is given out to a well-rounded member of the First Year Class who has shown exemplary leadership in their academic and extracurricular endeavors.
Sophomore of the Year: This award is given out to a well-rounded member of the Sophomore Class who has shown exemplary leadership in their academic and extracurricular endeavors.
Junior of the Year: This award is given out to a well-rounded member of the Junior Class who has shown exemplary leadership in their academic and extracurricular endeavors.
Senior of the Year: This award is given out to a well-rounded member of the Senior Class who has shown exemplary leadership in their academic and extracurricular endeavors.
The Barbara J. Hazard Community Builder Award: This award is given out to a faculty member, staff member, or student who has been involved in many different facets of the University. They have displayed exemplary leadership at UNE through bringing together students, faculty, and staff across departments. This person has worked to bring the UNE community together in every way.
Debra J. Summers Memorial Award: This award is given to a professor who has inspired and motivated students to realize their full potential. This professor has been involved in many areas on campus, both in and out of the classroom. They have helped to make the college experience enjoyable, and have set an excellent example for all members of the University.
