USG funds Saco River Ferry

Undergraduate Student Government has funded a pilot RIVER FERRY for commuters to travel between Camp Ellis and the UNE pier

There hasn't been an active Saco River Ferry since 1925!  You can be part of history by signing up for this unique opportunity!

Information sessions will provide details about operations, parking, liability and procedures:

Wednesday, March 14th from 12-1 - Decary Cafe Function room 1
  Thursday, March 15th from 12 - 1 - Decary Cafe Function room 1
  Tuesday, March 27th from 4 - 5 pm - St. Francis Room

Additionally an information packet is available for interested parties who are unable to attend an information session.  To receive one, please contact Alethea in the Sustainability Office.

Anticipated operations:

 - Monday through Friday
 - April 9th to April 27th (tentative)
 - Mornings  7:30 am to 9:00 am
 - Afternoons 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm

If you live in Camp Ellis, Saco, Old Orchard Beach or even Scarborough, this is a great way to travel to UNE and save time, gas money and parking frustrations.

Sincerely,
Undergraduate Student Government,
Environmental Council and
Office of Sustainability
