On Saturday November 6th, the Kappa Chapter of Sigma Sigma Phi, a UNE College of Osteopathic Medicine student organization dedicated to academic excellence and community service, is holding its annual "UNECOM Turkey Trot 5k race to benefit the Biddeford Free Clinic."  The race will begin at 9am at 189 Alfred Street in Biddeford.  Pre-registration is $18, and registration forms are available at".  Race-Day
Registration is $20 and starts at 7:30 AM.  T-shirts will be given to all participants!

All proceeds from the race will go to the Biddeford Free Clinic, a non-profit organization that provides free medical and dental care to the uninsured of Southern Maine.  This is now the fourth year that the UNE Chapter of Sigma Sigma Phi has organized the Turkey Trot 5k, and in past years, the event has raised over $1500 each year to support the operation of the clinic.  We look forward to supporting this important community resource again this year.  Please join us!
