In this interactive lecture/workshop, Dr. Heather Dwyer Sadlier from UNE Department of Education will discuss her work on creating inclusive classrooms with a respect for differences in school settings based on her extensive work with the Teaching Tolerance curriculum. Founded in 1991 by the Southern Poverty Law Center, Teaching Tolerance is dedicated to reducing prejudice, improving intergroup relations and supporting equitable school experiences for our nation's children.
