Stand Up & Be Counted- The Student Vs. Alumni Challenge!
Let’s come together as
a campus community for a cause. Give to the Student Emergency Fund Fridays in
February… and be entered to win fantastic raffle prizes!
The Student
Emergency Fund:
Barbara Hazard, an honorary alumni and retired Vice President for Student
Affairs and Dean of Students has created a Student
Emergency Fund to be used by the Student Affairs office to help students in
crisis.
You may have had classmates or even friends leave UNE because of financial
hardships- this fund helps students in need stay in school! In order to
activate the fund, we need just 120 UNE alumni to give to the Annual Fund.
Where Do Current UNE Students Come
in? !
The Office of Alumni Advancement is sponsoring a Student vs. Alumni Challenge!
We will be collecting funds on Fridays in February outside of the cafeteria in
Decary during lunchtime. Who can reach
120 donors first? Support the Student Emergency Fund and show those UNE Alumni
you know how to “pay it forward!”
Need Another Reason To Give?:
For as little as $1 you will not only be making a difference- you’ll also be
entered to win a raffle prize!
Prizes include Nor’Easter dollars, gift certificates to Target, passes to
Cinemagic and Vacationland Bowl and more. Winners will be announced at the end
of the month.
Don’t Let the Alumni Win!:
We will be keeping track of the challenge on the bulletin board outside of the
cafeteria.
Remember: the competition depends on the number of donors, not the size of the gift-
your participation matters!
