SPOTLIGHT ON Student Research in South Africa & Indonesia

posted Nov 5, 2009, 7:27 AM by Danielle StOnge

Monday, November 9th at noon
St. Francis Room with lunch provided

Don't miss this opportunity to learn about research UNE students are doing abroad, and how you can get involved as a research assistant in a variety of countries and fields.  Please join us in the St. Francis room at noon this Monday to learn more about the experiences of UNE Students Brittany McIntosh and Ashley Traverse-Taylor who spent their summer as research assistants with Operation Wallacea ( http://www.opwall.com/About/index.shtml ), a conservation management research program, in South Africa and Indonesia.  They will share photos and an overview of the research they did - Brittany in Biodiversity and Conservation in Kruger National Park in South Africa, and Ashley in coral reef and fisheries monitoring in the Wakatobi Marine National Park in Indonesia.

The Spotlight is being sponsored by the Center for International Education and the Office of Multicultural Affairs.  We look forward to seeing you there!
