Graduate students of the University of New
England School of Social Work cordially invite you to a presentation that we
are hosting at the UNE Portland Campus on April 28th at from 5:30pm- 7pm in the CHP Lecture Hall. This presentation will be broken up into
three main components with the desired outcome of helping increase service
providers’, students’ and community members’ understanding of the challenges
that some of the residents of Portland continue to face on a daily basis. We have developed this presentation and created materials and content to make available to programs and agencies who are interested in presenting it to their staff. The forum is comprised of a combination of factual information and personal accounts, which students have gathered through research and directly connecting with individuals throughout the community. These individuals have provided critical information and insight into the reality of transitioning to life in Portland Maine from a variety of backgrounds. Please RSVP and let us know if you will be attending! See the attached invitation more information and details!
