The security issue with the front door in the Ketchum Library has been resolved and I am now very pleased to be able to announce the beginning of UNE Library Extended Hours of Operation on the Biddeford Campus.  The Portland Campus has already begun extended hours.
 
Beginning today, Tuesday, September 28th, 2010, the Biddeford Campus Library and Portland Campus Library will offer the following extended hours of operation:
 
Biddeford Campus Library:
Sunday 10am - Friday 9pm:  open continuously / 24 hours/day
Saturday: 10am - 9pm
 
Portland Campus Library:
Sunday: 10am - 11pm
Monday - Thursday: 6am - 11pm
Friday: 6am - 9pm
Saturday: 10am - 9pm 
 
Library hours on the Portland Campus will be extended further shortly, dependent upon student staffing.
 
Please note that for security and safety reasons, Library building access will be limited to only current UNE students, faculty, and staff between the hours of 11pm and 8am, Sunday through Friday.  Library entrances will require a valid UNE ID card during these hours.  Please remember to carry your UNE ID card with you to gain entrance to the Libraries from 11pm through 8am.
