H1N1 Vaccine Available

posted Dec 11, 2009, 11:43 AM by Angela Shambarger
The University has received the H1N1 vaccine nasal dose ("live attenuated influenza vaccine") for the high-priority groups on BOTH campuses.  Please be advised that people with conditions such as asthma or chronic bronchitis, as well as pregnant women, should not receive this form of the vaccine.  We do expect to receive the H1N1 injectable vaccine in the near future, and will notify the community when it is available, so individuals in these latter groups should wait until that time to receive it.

Individuals in the high-priority groups who wish to schedule an appointment for the H1N1 vaccine should contact the Portland or Biddeford Health Care Clinics at the numbers listed below.  Please print and fill out the attached form and bring it with you if you schedule an appointment.

Portland Campus; 221-4242, Ginn Hall
Biddeford Campus, 602-2358, Petts Health Center
