*Are you interested in saving a life?
Ever thought about working on an Ambulance/ Fire Department?
Want to beef up your resume?
Want to increase your chances of getting into grad school?
Looking for an exciting and very rewarding career?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, then becoming a
licensed Emergency Medical Technician(EMT) may be right for you!!!

UNE-EMS, in conjunction with Northeast Mobile Ambulance Service and
Kennebunk Fire/Rescue, will be hosting their annual EMT-Basic class this
upcoming spring semester. This opportunity to gain a better education and
experience pre-hospital care/ life support will be next to none in terms of
any classes you can take at UNE. The class will be taught by some of Maine's
best licensed professionals and the quality of education will be
non-comparable to any other EMT class offered in Maine.

If you would like to learn more about this exciting opportunity then
stop by Marcil 124 on Thursday December 3rd from 7-830pm for an
informational meeting and Q/A session. Applications will also be handed out
for the class during this time. Keep in mind that the Maximum number of
accepted applicants will be set at 30 students. So it is vital you get your
 application as soon as possible.

If you are unable to attend this session please e-mail me at your
convenience and we shall arrange a time to meet. Feel free to email me with
 any other general questions.

 Sincerely,
